Brenda Mann Harrison

Brenda Mann Harrison joined the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County in 2020 and served as president-elect for the 2025-26 fiscal year.  A former journalist and communications, marketing, program and development manager, Brenda believes in the collective power of working together. She serves on LWVWA Local News and Democracy Education and Advocacy Committee and coordinates the Media Literacy and News Education Project. 

 

Lisa Utter

Past President

Lisa Utter has been a resident of Snohomish County since 1990, and joined the League for a second time in 2018. In addition to serving 12 years on the Lynnwood City Council, she has served on the boards of Community Transit, South County Emergency Shelter, KSER and the Thumbnail Theater.  Professionally, she has a background in law, public policy and non-profit social services management. 

Linda Wills

President-Elect

 

Linda Wills joined the League for the second time in 2022. She has held public sector planning and management positions in Wisconsin and New Jersey. She served as co-chair of Snohomish County Tomorrow’s Community Advisory Board. She holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Meredith Gould

Treasurer

Meredith Gould joined the League in 2024 following a 40-year career as a registered nurse and hospital Chief Nursing Officer.  She obtained her doctorate nursing degree in Executive Health Care Leadership and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She served the Northwest Organization of Nurse Leaders as Treasurer and Healthcare Policy Committee Chair. Meredith first attended a Snohomish County League meeting as a young child with her mother, Susan Gould, who served as President for the league in the 1960s.

 

Wendy Staley Colbert

 

Secretary

Wendy Staley Colbert joined the League in 2024 after retiring from a 25+-year career at Microsoft, where she worked as a program manager in the fields of management excellence and leadership development. Wendy holds a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in nonfiction writing and a BA in journalism. She publishes the LWVWA Resisting Threats to Democracy newsletter, leads the Resisting Threats to Democracy effort for the Snohomish County league, participated in the Washington State Democracy Report Card project, and moderates candidate forums.
