This is our annual meeting to Fire Up! our members with information about the work plan for the year, opportunities to support the efforts to defend democracy, and empower voters locally, as well as the strong nonpartisan, but definitely political stances that LWVUS and LWVWA are taking to protect individual rights and adherence to the Constitution. We will hear from LWVWA president, Karen Crowley about this important work.
The local Unite and Rise project sets the goal of reaching at least 18,567* voters in Snohomish County, outreach to serve the entire community - whether they are voters or citizens, and our continuing work to promote good public policy.
*This is 3.5% of the eligible voting population - a percent proven to drive change, as outlined in the Unite and Rise project.
